Deputy Home Manager (Residential/Rehabilitation)

37.5 hours per week (Predominately Monday-Friday hours)

Salary: up to £37,000 

We are looking for Deputy Home Manager with expertise in residential care to join our client’s team. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality service in compliance with statutory requirements. The service provides neurological nursing care and support to adults after a brain injury or long term neurological care. 

What We’re Looking For

• level 3 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification in Social Care/Health
• Proven experience in leadership & management roles
• In-depth knowledge of what constitutes a high-quality specific service and experience in residential rehabilitation
• Familiarity with statutory requirements and regulations, including the Care Quality Commission regulations

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and guiding junior staff through formal supervisions and appraisals to maintain and improve the quality of service and staff morale
• Prioritising workload to meet specified deadlines and ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission regulations and outcomes
• Demonstrating initiative, critical thinking skills, and flexibility to address any challenges that may arise
• On-Call rota 
• Assisting the service manager in monitoring budgets
• Support the Service Manager with recruitment
