Registered Home Manager (Residential Care)

Salary: Up to £36,000

Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Home Manager (Residential Care) to lead a medium sized care home. This home provides high-quality, person-centred care for individuals with sensory impairments, Alzheimer’s, dementia, and physical disabilities.

Whether a Care Home Manager or experienced Deputy Home Manager ready for a step up, the right candidate will be confident in leading a team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualification: Level 5 in Health and Social Care
• Experience: Proven experience in a care management role (Care Home Manager or Deputy Home Manager), with a focus on elderly care
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in residential care
• Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to providing person-centred care
• Relevant qualifications in health or social care management

Your Day-to-Day

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home
• Supervise and support a team of care staff, ensuring that they provide excellent care to residents
• Develop and maintain care plans for residents, ensuring their individual needs are met
• Manage the operational and administrative aspects of the care home, including budgets, staffing, and regulatory compliance
• Act as a point of contact for residents and their families, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care for residents
• Continuously assess and improve the quality of care and services provided
