Registered Service Manager - Residential Care
Salary: Up to £39,000


We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Registered Service Manager to lead a small residential care service. The ideal candidate will have a background in Health & Social Care, with experience in Home Management within a residential setting. As the Registered Service Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care, managing budgets, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for both staff and residents.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in care team management or supervisory/management roles within residential care.
  • Strong people and communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • In-depth understanding of financial data and budget management.
  • Previous CQC registration experience.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Day-to-day operations: Oversee the smooth running of the residential care service.
  • Team Management: Lead and support a team of care staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop strong, positive relationships with residents, families, and external parties.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and quality requirements.
  • Financial Management: Effectively manage budgets and financial data.
  • Cross-department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including therapies, transport, catering, administration, care, and maintenance.
  • Best Practices: Implement and maintain best practices for care service delivery.
