Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN)

Hourly Rate: £20

48 hours per week

What we’re looking for:

  • Registered Qualification: Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN) with an active and clear NMC PIN.
  • Compassionate Care: A genuine passion for nursing and elderly care.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team and take initiative when required.
  • Dementia Experience: Previous experience in a dementia or residential care setting is advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Medication Management: Administering medication and treatments in line with care plans and regulatory guidelines.
  • Care Planning: Assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for residents.
  • Family Engagement: Building positive relationships with residents and their families, ensuring open communication.
  • Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring care staff to maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Health Monitoring: Monitoring and responding to changes in residents' conditions, working collaboratively with the wider care team.
