What we’re looking for:

• Nursing Qualification: Active NMC registration as an RGN or RMN.
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a senior nursing role, such as Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager.
• Specialist Knowledge: Understanding of dementia care and a commitment to promoting dignity and independence.
• Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.

About the Role

As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the home while delivering outstanding care to residents. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will:

• Lead and Inspire: Support and guide the nursing and care teams, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
• Deliver Excellence: Maintain and enhance high standards of person-centred care for all residents.
• Compliance and Standards: Assist in ensuring that regulatory and CQC requirements are met and exceeded.
• Operational Support: Help manage staff rotas, training, and development, ensuring a high-performing team.
• Resident Wellbeing: Build strong relationships with residents and their families to ensure the best possible experience.
• Clinical Expertise: Provide hands-on clinical care and oversee complex health needs as required.
