Salary: Up to £40,000
Our client, a well-established and nurturing nursery, is looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead their team. This nursery caters to children aged 3 months to 5 years, providing a bright, safe, and engaging space where children can explore, grow, and thrive. With a focus on fostering early development, the nursery offers both indoor and outdoor play areas designed to inspire curiosity and confidence. Conveniently located near transport links, this role is ideal for a passionate professional ready to make an impact in early childhood education.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualifications: Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher) and possess in-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Proven Experience: Previous experience in a nursery.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team effectively, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong skills in communicating with children, families, and staff, ensuring an inclusive, positive nursery culture.
- Commitment to Child Development: Passionate about early childhood education, with a focus on creating a stimulating, caring, and supportive learning environment.
Your day-to-day:
- Day-to-Day Leadership: Oversee daily operations to ensure a high standard of care and education for children in a positive and stimulating environment.
- Team Management: Lead and support a team of educators, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere that promotes professional growth.
- Engaging Curriculum Development: Work with staff to create and implement a play-based curriculum that supports children’s individual development and learning milestones.
- Parent and Caregiver Communication: Build strong relationships with families, keeping them well-informed about their child’s progress and ensuring a welcoming environment for all.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the nursery meets all health and safety regulations, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children and staff.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor and assess nursery practices, identifying areas for enhancement to maintain high standards and drive ongoing improvement.
