Our client, a delightful small residential care home with a “Good” CQC rating, is seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join their dedicated team. This is a wonderful opportunity for a culinary professional who is eager to create fresh, nutritious meals that truly enhance the lives of residents.
What We’re Looking For:
- Culinary Expertise: Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of food preparation and presentation. A valid Food Hygiene certificate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create Nutritious Meals: Prepare and cook fresh, delicious meals using the best available ingredients, tailored to meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents.
- Support the Head Chef: Collaborate closely with the Head Chef, leading by example and demonstrating high levels of hospitality and kitchen standards.
- Maintain Kitchen Standards: Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
