Are you an experienced healthcare professional ready to take the next step in your career? Our client is looking for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their dedicated team at their small and beautiful residential and dementia care home.

 

If you have a passion for delivering exceptional care, hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, and want to work in a supportive and welcoming environment, this is the role for you!

 

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of residents by providing personalised care and support. You’ll work closely with a friendly and collaborative team to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered, promoting dignity, independence, and well-being for all residents.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Senior Healthcare Assistant, ideally in a residential or dementia care setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Attitude: A caring, empathetic approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each resident’s individual needs.
  • Support residents with daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and social engagement.
  • Lead and mentor the care team, offering guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Assist in developing and implementing personalized care plans.
  • Monitor residents’ health and well-being, ensuring any changes are promptly addressed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records in line with regulatory standards.
  • Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff.
