Healthcare Assistant - Day Shifts
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Day Shifts
Rate of Pay: £11.50 per hour


Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join their established team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of elderly residents, particularly those living with dementia. As a healthcare assistant, you will be supporting residents with their day-to-day lives, encouraging them to live as independently as possible, while providing the highest standard of care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with residents and build positive relationships, providing personal care and support with daily activities, including dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Assist residents in participating in in-house activities and hobbies to enhance their well-being and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with residents and their families to develop and implement personalised care plans that meet their individual needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate resilience and attentiveness in ensuring residents are treated with the utmost dignity and care.
  • Maintain a reliable, friendly, and caring approach to support residents in achieving their everyday goals.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Some previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to engage and develop meaningful relationships with residents, fostering a caring and supportive environment.
  • A reliable, friendly, and compassionate approach to assisting residents, including with personal care.
  • Experience or a willingness to support in-house activities and hobbies that contribute to residents' well-being.
  • Ability to work alongside residents and their families to continuously develop and update care plans.
  • Resilient and attentive, ensuring that all residents receive care with dignity and respect.
