Senior Healthcare Assistant – Day Shifts
Hours: Full-time (3 shifts one week, 4 shifts the next)
Hourly Rate: £15

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their dynamic and caring team in a residential home for older adults, specialising in dementia care. The ideal candidate must hold a Level 3 in Health and Social Care and have experience in a residential setting.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualifications: Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home.
  • Person-Centred Care: Understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning principles.
  • Safeguarding Knowledge: Awareness of abuse prevention and recognition of signs of abuse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resident Care: Provide high-quality care and support in line with individual care plans.
  • Team Supervision: Oversee and support a team of care assistants to ensure best practices.
  • Safeguarding: Recognise and respond to signs of abuse, following appropriate procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
  • Communication: Liaise effectively with residents, families, and the wider care team.
