Our client is looking for an experienced and compassionate Care Team Leader to join their dynamic team at their care home offering dementia and respite care. This is a full-time, night shift position with a competitive salary of up to £31,500 per annum. The home provides top-quality care across three floors and offers residents a variety of exceptional amenities, including beautifully furnished rooms, a beauty salon, a cinema room, and numerous activities.

 

As a Care Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the care team during the night shifts, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care in a safe and supportive environment. Your leadership and expertise in dementia and elderly care will make a real difference to both residents and your team.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Significant experience in a care setting, particularly with dementia and elderly care.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising, mentoring, and appraising staff.
  • Knowledge and experience in medication management and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for making a positive difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of care staff during the night shift, ensuring excellent care delivery.
  • Provide person-centred care to residents with dementia and those requiring respite care, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Manage medication administration and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Conduct appraisals and provide guidance and support to your team.
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and comfort within the home.
  • Foster a supportive and positive environment, encouraging team collaboration and growth.
