Salary: From £45,000

Our client, a beautiful and well-established small nursing home located in a picturesque village, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Home Manager. This recently renovated home includes a specialist EMI Unit, providing high-quality dementia care in a warm and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will lead the care team, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance while fostering a positive and person-centred culture. Strong leadership skills and a nursing background are essential for this role.

What We’re Looking For

• Nursing qualification and NMC registration.
• Proven Nursing Home management experience, ideally in dementia and EMI care.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations in dementia care.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• A commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace.

You Day-to-Day

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the care team, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Oversee compliance with all regulatory requirements, particularly within the EMI Unit.
• Develop and maintain personalized care plans, ensuring a tailored approach to resident well-being.
• Manage recruitment, training, and performance of staff, fostering a motivated and skilled team.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and continuously enhance the quality of care delivery, particularly for dementia care.
