Nursing Home Manager

Salary: Up to £75,000
40 hours per week

 

Our client is seeking a strong and experienced Nursing Home Manager to oversee the operation of their purpose-built service for older adults with nursing and dementia care needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Nursing Home Manager, with proven leadership and management skills. While NMC registration is desirable, it is not essential for this role.

 

What we’re looking for

  • Experience as a Nursing Home Manager, with a track record of achieving good and outstanding CQC ratings
  • Nursing qualification and a valid NMC Pin or Level 5 Health & Social Care (Leadership and Management) qualification.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively.

Your day-to-day

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents with nursing and dementia care needs while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Oversee and manage all staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the quality of care and enhance the overall resident experience.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage the budget and financial performance of the nursing home.
  • Handle escalated issues or concerns in a timely, professional manner, ensuring swift resolution.
