Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their management team, taking on third-in-charge responsibilities. As a Nursery Room Leader, you will oversee the daily running of your designated room, guiding and supporting your team to provide exceptional care and education. What We’re Looking For:

  • Hold a Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Have proven experience in managing a unit within a similar setting.
  • Be an exceptional mentor and practitioner with a solid understanding of the EYFS.
  • Hold up-to-date certifications in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, and Food Hygiene.
  • Have experience working in a baby room.
  • Be able to build strong working relationships with colleagues and parents to achieve common goals.
  • Hold a valid enhanced DBS.
  • Be flexible with the working week and willing to work as part of a team.

 

Responsibilities

As Room Manager, your key duties will include:

  • Ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly checks are completed effectively in your room.
  • Monitoring accident trends and ensuring actions are taken appropriately.
  • Leading and managing your team, providing motivation and training tailored to their individual needs.
  • Overseeing the nursery in the short absence of the Manager or Deputy Manager.
  • Being a key holder for the nursery.
