Nursery Room Leader
Salary: Up to £29,700
40 hours per week
Our client is looking for a nurturing and experienced Level 3 Room Leader to join their inclusive nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate childcare professional to lead a room of children and support their development through engaging and creative activities in a safe and stimulating environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent).
- Experience: Previous experience working in a nursery setting, ideally in a leadership role.
- Child Development Knowledge: Strong understanding of child development and the ability to plan engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide and support staff.
- Passion for Early Years: A genuine enthusiasm for providing high-quality care and education for young children.
- Safeguarding Knowledge: Up-to-date understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Activity Planning: Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children’s individual development.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of nursery practitioners, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Building Relationships: Develop strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Child Safety & Wellbeing: Ensure the safety, welfare, and emotional well-being of all children in your care.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of children’s development, progress, and any concerns, reporting to management as required.
- Parent Partnership: Work closely with parents and guardians to provide high-quality care and education for their children.
