  • In-depth knowledge of the EYFS and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiasm for working with children and fostering their development.
  • Ability to work in a busy environment while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.

Perks of Working with Us:

  • Competitive salary, ranging from £30,000 to £31,000, with potential for slight negotiation.
  • Supportive and open-door management culture with regular meetings and easy access to senior staff.
  • A beautiful, large outdoor space for children to enjoy and explore, promoting learning through nature.
  • Frequent safeguarding training to ensure all staff remain up-to-date with best practices.
  • A collaborative and friendly team who share a passion for providing high-quality early years education.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression within the nursery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the 2-3 year old room, ensuring a high standard of care and education that aligns with EYFS guidelines.
  • Support the team in planning, delivering, and evaluating educational activities that meet the developmental needs of the children.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and carers, using Famly software to keep families informed about their child's progress.
  • Ensure all paperwork, planning, and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner, following the nursery’s structured approach.
  • Promote a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow, both indoors and outdoors.
