Nursery Room Leader
Salary: Up to £35,000 | Full-Time Hours

 

Our client, is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with senior experience in early years education to take on a leadership role in a nursery that has created a bespoke curriculum designed to inspire children to learn and become independent.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
  • Previous senior experience within a nursery or early years setting, including leadership responsibilities.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to manage and support a team effectively.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to the challenges of working with young children.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and safeguarding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Support: Lead and motivate a team of nursery practitioners, ensuring high-quality care and education for all children.
  • Curriculum Delivery: Implement the nursery’s bespoke curriculum to foster independence and a love for learning among children.
  • Child Development: Observe, assess, and support children’s development, identifying any areas of concern and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to each child’s well-being and learning journey.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and well-organized, adhering to all safeguarding and health regulations.
  • Professional Development: Support the professional growth of staff by providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
