Level 3 Nursery Room Leader
Salary: Up to £32,000
Full-Time Hours
We are seeking a passionate and nurturing Nursery Room Leader to join our client’s growing Early Years team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, a genuine love for working with infants, and the expertise to support their unique developmental needs.
As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be instrumental in fostering a safe, engaging environment where each child can flourish at their own pace.
What we’re looking for:
- A Level 3 in Early Years or above
- Proven experience working with infants in a nursery setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of nursery staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including the capacity to build effective partnerships with parents and colleagues
- Up-to-date knowledge of child development, safeguarding practices, and health and safety regulations
- A proactive and compassionate approach to working with young children, ensuring each child’s well-being and happiness

What you’ll be doing:
- Leadership and Supervision: Manage and support a team of nursery staff, ensuring routines and activities are tailored to meet each child's needs.
- Child-Centred Planning: Design and deliver developmental activities that promote sensory exploration, learning, and growth.
- Parent Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and fostering open, transparent communication.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and organized, adhering to all safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
- Team Development: Mentor and guide nursery staff, supporting their professional growth and creating a positive, collaborative team culture.
