Nursery Manager (Level 3)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager (Level 3) to join a leading childcare provider. The successful candidate will oversee the operations of a busy nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.


Salary and Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the daily operations of the nursery, including staff management, curriculum implementation, and facility maintenance.
  • Compliance: Ensure the nursery meets all regulatory standards and guidelines for childcare facilities.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create an inclusive and welcoming environment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support a team of educators and support staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work with external agencies and community partners to enhance the quality of care and education provided.

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee the implementation of the nursery curriculum
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations
  • Address any issues or concerns raised by parents, staff, or external agencies
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to staffing, enrolment, and regulatory compliance
  • Engage with parents and families to promote open communication and partnership in the child’s development
  • Stay updated on current trends and best practices in early childhood education
