Nursery Manager
Salary: Up to £28,000
Hours: 40 hours per week, all year round

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential).
  • A solid background in early years care and leadership within a nursery environment.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and guide a team to consistently deliver high standards of care.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to build effective relationships with children, parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • A passion for fostering the well-being and development of children, and creating an environment where they can grow and flourish.
  • Ability to efficiently manage resources, ensuring the nursery operates smoothly and in compliance with all regulations.

Your Role

As Nursery Manager, you will lead a dedicated team to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to your team to ensure the highest standards of care and early education are delivered.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, managing resources, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure age-appropriate, creative, and stimulating activities are designed and implemented to support children's development.
  • Regularly assess children’s progress, implementing tailored learning plans to meet individual needs.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families, ensuring open communication regarding children’s progress and development.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • closely with other members of the leadership team to foster a supportive environment for both staff and children.
