Nursery Manager (Full-Time)
Salary: Up to £49,500, depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Nursery Manager with a passion for Early Years education, a strong ability to motivate and inspire a team, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of practice. They will have a hands-on approach and be able to effectively manage both the operational and developmental aspects of the nursery, ensuring every child and staff member thrives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: Level 3 in Early Years.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Nursery Manager
- Knowledge of Standards: Extensive understanding of EYFS, Ofsted, and welfare requirements.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A Day in the Life:
- Policy and Standards Management: Fully understand and uphold all nursery policies and procedures.
- Operational Oversight: Manage and oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functionality.
- Team Leadership: Form and maintain professional, friendly partnerships with parents and the staff team, fostering a positive environment.
- Staff Supervision: Conduct regular staff supervisions, monthly team meetings, and delegate responsibilities to ensure smooth classroom operations.
- Quality Assurance: Perform peer observations, management spot checks to assess and improve staff practices.
- Mentorship and Development: Mentor and train the team, actively encouraging skill development and best practices.
- Parent Engagement: Organize and host events, conduct nursery viewings, and follow up with parents after enquiries to build strong relationships.
