Salary: Up to £27,000
Hours: 40 hours per week, all year round

What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential).
- Proven Leadership Experience: A solid background in early years care and leadership within a nursery setting.
- EYFS Expertise: In-depth understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Team Leadership: A demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and support a team in consistently delivering high standards of care.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with children, parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Child Development Passion: A genuine commitment to fostering the well-being and development of children, creating an environment in which they can thrive.
- Organizational Efficiency: Strong organizational skills to manage resources, ensure smooth operations, and adhere to all relevant regulations.

Your Role
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and education. Your responsibilities will include:
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to your team, ensuring the delivery of outstanding care and early education.
- Operational Management: Alongside the nursery manager, oversee the nursery’s daily operations, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Curriculum Development: Help plan and implement creative, age-appropriate activities that support children’s growth and development.
- Child Monitoring: Regularly assess children’s progress and implement tailored learning plans to meet individual needs.
- Family Engagement: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents, ensuring effective communication on their children’s progress and development.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and hygienic, with all policies and procedures followed.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with the Nursery Manager and leadership team to create a supportive and positive environment for both staff and children.
