Level 3 Nursery Room Leader

Salary: Up to £30,000

Full-Time (40 hours)

 

Our client is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join their exceptional team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years across designated spaces for each age group. Set within a unique and inspiring building, the service is committed to helping every child achieve, develop, and thrive in a safe and engaging setting.

 

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will take on a key leadership role within the team, ensuring high standards of care and education. You will oversee daily activities, support staff, and create a welcoming environment that encourages children’s curiosity, learning, and development.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Previous experience working in an early years setting, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Passion for Early Years: A genuine enthusiasm for nurturing and inspiring young children.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and support a team while maintaining high-quality care and education.
  • Commitment to Safeguarding: A dedication to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Room: Oversee the day-to-day running of a designated age group, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Supporting Learning & Development: Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities tailored to each child’s needs.
  • Team Supervision: Mentor and support nursery practitioners, fostering a collaborative and positive working atmosphere.
  • Parental Partnerships: Build strong, trusting relationships with families, providing updates on children’s progress and development.
  • Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed to create a secure and nurturing space for children.
