Head Chef - Care Home
Salary: Up to £29,000 | Hours: 40 per week

Our client, a brand-new luxury care home, is searching for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead their kitchen team. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older adults by delivering nutritious, delicious, and carefully tailored meals in a home-like environment.

As Head Chef, you will be at the heart of the service, creating menus that cater to diverse dietary needs, including modified textures, allergies, and specific nutritional requirements. Leading a team of cooks and kitchen assistants, you will ensure that every meal is prepared with care, creativity, and a commitment to quality.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen position, within a care home.
• Qualifications: Level 3 Cookery (or equivalent) and Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of different diets, allergies, and food textures.
• Leadership: Excellent management skills to guide and support a team of cooks and kitchen assistants.
• Passion: A genuine commitment to providing high-quality, home-cooked meals that enhance residents’ well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare varied, nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary requirements.
• Lead and inspire a dedicated kitchen team, ensuring high standards in food preparation and service.
