What You’ll Bring

  • Qualifications: Level 5 Health and Social Care (Leadership and Management) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven track record of managing a care home and delivering outstanding care.
  • Leadership Skills: A strong ability to inspire, lead, and support your team.
  • Expertise: Excellent knowledge of dementia care and the unique needs of older adults.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of CQC regulations and standards.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication abilities to build positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality residential and dementia care, ensuring residents’ needs and preferences are at the centre of everything.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the care team, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace.
  • Implement and monitor effective care plans tailored to each resident’s individual requirements.
  • Manage the home’s operations, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Oversee budgets and resources efficiently while maintaining exceptional service quality.
  • Act as an ambassador for the home, building strong relationships with families, residents, and external partners.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide guidance to encourage career progression and professional growth.
