Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) - Baby Room
Salary: Up to £31,000
40 hours per week
Are you a passionate and dedicated professional with experience in early years education? We are looking for a nurturing Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) to join our client’s vibrant team and play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care for babies. As a Nursery Room Leader, you will lead a team of early years practitioners, creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment while overseeing the daily operations of the nursery room.
Qualifications
- Hold a Level 3 in Early Years or above, demonstrating a strong understanding of early childhood development and education principles
- Proven leadership experience within a nursery setting, with a deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families, and colleagues, creating a positive and supportive environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety requirements in early years settings, prioritizing the well-being and security of all children
- Dedication to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of childcare provision, creating an environment where every child feels valued and respected

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursery room, overseeing the daily activities and ensuring a safe environment for babies
- Design and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences that support children's learning and development, fostering creativity and curiosity
- Provide guidance and mentorship to early years practitioners, supporting their professional development and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, creating a welcoming and inclusive community within the nursery
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and implement safeguarding procedures to prioritize the well-being and safety
- Contribute to ongoing assessments and observations, maintaining accurate records of progress and achievements, and using this information to support individualised learning
