Nursery Room Leader (Baby Room)
Salary: Up to £30,500, dependent on experience
40 hours per week, working varied shifts between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm.
Our client, a well-established nursery, is looking for a warm, proactive, and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their team. The Nursery is dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood education through both a child-centred approach and in-depth staff support.

What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Experience: Proven background as a Room Leader in an early years setting.
- Knowledge & Skills: Strong grasp of EYFS standards, Ofsted regulations, and general ICT competence.
- Personal Qualities: Enthusiastic, motivated, and adaptable with a team-focused mindset and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire the baby room team, foster collaboration, and ensure efficient operation.
- Child Development and Care: Support babies’ daily personal and hygiene needs, promote emotional well-being, and engage in activities to foster development.
- Observations and Planning: Continuously monitor, assess, and plan for each child’s progress, ensuring all activities align with EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
- Parental Engagement: Build positive, professional relationships with parents to support children’s learning journeys.
- Daily Operations: Ensure efficient documentation, planning, and communication.
