Nursery Room Leader (Level 3)
Salary: Up to £28,500
Hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday


Our client, an established and award-winning nursery, is seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is dedicated to creating a joyful, nurturing environment for children, while also providing safe, high-quality education and care. The nursery emphasises natural learning environments, outdoor exploration through a forest school approach, and learning through play. The Room Leader will play a key role in shaping the day-to-day experiences for children and will be supported with continuous professional development to grow and thrive.

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • Qualifications: Level 3 in Early Years
  • Experience: Previous experience in a Room Leader role or similar leadership role in early years settings
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of EYFS and SEN requirements
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, a passion for play-based learning, and an ability to inspire and lead a team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and motivate the room team, ensuring a high standard of care and collaboration.
  • Child Development and Care: Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports each child’s growth.
  • Curriculum Planning: Design and implement engaging, play-based activities aligned with EYFS standards and children’s interests.
  • Family Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians, regularly updating them on their child’s development.
  • Daily Operations: Ensure all activities and routines meet regulatory requirements and the nursery’s policies and procedures.
