Staff Nurse – RMN or RNLD

Our client, a highly respected specialist care service, is looking for a experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to provide outstanding care and support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.


As an RMN or RNLD, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care that enhances the lives of individuals with challenging behaviours. Working within a dynamic and supportive team, you will provide high-quality nursing support, ensuring safety, dignity, and positive outcomes for those in your care.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • A Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with a valid NMC registration.
  • At least five years’ post-qualification experience, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Proven experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours.
  • A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to care.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialist nursing care tailored to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex behaviours.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to care staff, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Monitor and assess the mental and physical well-being of residents, responding effectively to their needs.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and well-being.
