What we’re looking for:

  • NMC Registration: Must be a registered nurse with an active NMC PIN.
  • Mental Health Nursing Experience: Extensive experience in acute mental health care, including working with complex mental health conditions.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and mentor a team in a challenging and rewarding environment.
  • Compassionate and Person-Centred: A deep commitment to delivering high-quality care and understanding the needs of patients.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Leadership: Oversee the care and treatment of individuals with acute and complex mental health conditions.
  • Care Planning: Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Team Support: Lead, mentor, and support junior nurses and care staff to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
  • Patient Advocacy: Promote a compassionate and respectful environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure the service meets all regulatory requirements, supporting the team in maintaining a good CQC rating.
