Nursery Room Leader (Pre-School)
Salary: Up to £30,000

 

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join and lead their pre-school room. With a thoughtfully designed environment, individualised teaching rooms, and ample outdoor space, the nursery is committed to nurturing each child's natural curiosity and desire to learn through hands-on exploration and play.

 

As the Nursery Room Leader, you will take a key leadership role in the pre-school room, guiding a team to create a warm and stimulating environment that fosters children’s growth, development, and independence. This role is perfect for a compassionate and experienced childcare professional looking to inspire young learners and support a collaborative team in delivering exceptional early years education.

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualification: Level 3 Early Years Qualification or higher
  • Framework Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework; experience with Montessori principles is desirable.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursery or early years setting.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities to effectively interact with children, families, and team members.
  • Organisational Strength: Skilled in managing multiple tasks and responsibilities within a dynamic setting.
  • Passion for Child Development: A compassionate, approachable personality with a genuine dedication to nurturing children’s growth and fostering their curiosity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Inspire: Oversee the daily operations of the pre-school room, guiding a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, individualized care and learning.
  • Create a Stimulating Environment: Design and implement activities that spark curiosity and meet each child's developmental needs in line with Montessori principles.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Engage warmly with children, parents, and team members, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Monitor and Assess Progress: Track each child’s development and learning journey, ensuring a holistic approach to their growth.
  • Uphold Safety Standards: Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment, following all health and safety policies and guidelines.
