Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Salary: From £25,000
40 hours per week
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our client’s team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a warm, homely environment bursting with resources designed to create inviting yet stimulating surroundings. The nursery caters to children aged six weeks to five years, supporting their progress and development with the care of a close-knit, dedicated team.
With a large outdoor area available to children at all times, the nursery promotes free-flow between indoor and outdoor spaces, fostering a balanced and dynamic learning experience for every child.
Qualifications
- Recognized Qualification: Possess Level 3 in Early Years or above, providing a robust foundation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills for supporting children's development.
- Dedication and Expertise: Demonstrate a proven track record of dedication, expertise, and passion for early years education as a Nursery Practitioner.
- In-depth Familiarity: Showcase in-depth familiarity with child development, early years education principles, and best practices, informed by the latest research and industry standards.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong, nurturing relationships with children, adults, and effectively engaging with parents and caregivers.

Responsibilities
- Create a Secure and Engaging Environment: Develop and maintain a secure and engaging environment for young children, encouraging curiosity and facilitating exploration.
- Age-Appropriate Activity Development: Design and implement age-appropriate activities that nurture children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, tailored to their individual needs and interests.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Assess and monitor each child's progress, maintaining open and effective communication with parents and caregivers to offer comprehensive feedback and support.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the team to cultivate a positive environment for both children and colleagues, championing a culture of respect, compassion, and teamwork.
