Nursery Manager

£37,500 | 45 Hours Per Week

 

Our client, a well-established and nurturing nursery, is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled early years professional to take on a leadership role in a setting that values high-quality care, creativity, and a child-centred approach to learning.

 

The Nursery Manager will oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive. This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining excellence in early years education. The successful candidate will inspire and support the team, build strong relationships with families, and ensure the highest standards of care and learning are upheld.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 in Early Years or a relevant qualification.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery or early childhood education setting.
  • Strong understanding of early years curriculum, child development, and best practices in childcare.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation of the nursery, including staff management, curriculum implementation, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Lead and motivate a team of educators and support staff to deliver outstanding care and learning experiences for children.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, health and safety guidelines, and safeguarding policies.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community, and act as an advocate for the nursery's values and ethos.
  • Manage the nursery's budget, resources, and administrative tasks, including admissions, attendance records, and staff scheduling.
