Our client, a compassionate and forward-thinking care provider, is seeking a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their team for night shifts at a beautifully designed, luxury care home. Working as part of the night team, you’ll ensure residents feel safe, supported, and comfortable throughout the night. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be a key part of the leadership team—providing hands-on care, overseeing nightly routines, and offering guidance and encouragement to colleagues.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Senior in a care home setting
  • A caring and reliable nature with excellent communication skills
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a team
  • A genuine passion for enhancing quality of life for older adults

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example in delivering high-quality, person-centred care overnight
  • Support residents with evening and nighttime routines, including personal care and wellbeing checks
  • Assist in managing shift handovers and care documentation
  • Promote a peaceful, safe, and comforting environment for residents
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members
  • Communicate effectively with day staff to ensure continuity of care
