Working as part of the night team, you’ll ensure residents feel safe, supported, and comfortable throughout the night. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be a key part of the leadership team—providing hands-on care, overseeing nightly routines, and offering guidance and encouragement to colleagues.
What You’ll Need
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Senior in a care home setting
- A caring and reliable nature with excellent communication skills
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- A genuine passion for enhancing quality of life for older adults

Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example in delivering high-quality, person-centred care overnight
- Support residents with evening and nighttime routines, including personal care and wellbeing checks
- Assist in managing shift handovers and care documentation
- Promote a peaceful, safe, and comforting environment for residents
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members
- Communicate effectively with day staff to ensure continuity of care
