38 Hours per week, including some weekend work | Up to £31,600
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Chef to lead the kitchen in a beautifully designed, purpose-built nursing home. This is an opportunity to make a real difference, crafting meals that not only taste great but also support residents’ health and well-being.
As a Head Chef you will take charge of the kitchen, ensuring meals are prepared to the highest standard while meeting diverse dietary needs. With a strong knowledge of nutrition, food textures, allergies, and food safety regulations, the successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the dining experience for residents.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience – Previous experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior role within a care setting.
- Dietary Knowledge – Strong understanding of special diets, allergies, food textures, and nutrition.
- Qualifications – A qualification in catering or equivalent.
- Food Hygiene – Up-to-date food hygiene certification.
- Leadership – Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively in a busy kitchen environment.

- Kitchen Management – Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food production.
