Deputy Nursery Manager (Maternity Cover)

Salary: Up to £38,000

 

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team on a maternity cover basis. This role will support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

  • Qualifications: Level 3 in Early Years (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Proven senior experience in a nursery setting, with a genuine passion for early years education.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong team management and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Support the Nursery Manager in leading, motivating, and developing the nursery team.
  • Child Development: Ensure the nursery provides a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children can learn and thrive.
  • Curriculum Planning: Oversee the planning and delivery of educational activities tailored to children's individual needs.
  • Parent Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and families, providing regular updates and support.
