Up to £40,000 | 40 hours per week

 

Our client, a well-established and nurturing early years service, is seeking a passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional to play a key role in shaping young minds in a setting that values creativity, learning, and child development.

 

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager in leading a team of committed educators, ensuring the highest standards of care and education. With beautifully designed rooms and a warm, inviting atmosphere, the service provides a rich learning environment where children thrive. Outdoor play is a key part of the setting, with a range of engaging activities tailored to different age groups.

 

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for creating a positive, child-centred learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of practitioners to deliver exceptional childcare and learning experiences.
  • Work closely with families to foster strong relationships and ensure each child's individual needs are met.
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of a broad and stimulating curriculum.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes children’s well-being and development.
  • Support the Nursery Manager with administrative tasks, including staff scheduling and performance management.
