Salary: Up to £30,000

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Nursery Manager to maintain the nursery’s success and high standards of care and education. With a focus on creating a nurturing and inspiring environment, you will help oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring children’s well-being and development are always prioritized.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or in a leadership role within a nursery setting.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding practices, and nursery compliance requirements.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire and motivate a team to deliver the highest standards of care.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with families, staff, and external agencies.
  • Passion: A dedication to providing a nurturing and inspiring environment for children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Nursery Manager in the operational management of the nursery.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of nursery practitioners to achieve excellence in childcare.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and early years regulations.
  • Collaborate in planning and delivering a well-rounded curriculum, balancing structured learning and play.
  • Maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as staff rotas, record-keeping, and nursery policies.
