Deputy Nursery Manager
Salary: £29,500
Hours: 40 hours per week
Our client, a purpose-built nursery with beautifully designed rooms and spacious play areas, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team. The nursery boasts a large garden with all-weather protection, offering children plenty of opportunities to explore and learn outdoors throughout the year.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the setting and the provision of high-quality care and early education.
What We’re Looking For:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
Proven experience within a childcare or early years environment
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Passion for providing high-quality care and education

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Nursery Manager in the overall leadership and effective management of the nursery
Assist in leading and motivating a team of early years professionals
Ensure compliance with all nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards
Contribute to the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum
Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and education
Help create a stimulating, inclusive environment that meets the individual needs of all children
Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion across the setting
