Our client, a nurturing and vibrant nursery, is seeking an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join their dedicated team. As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery while working closely with the Nursery Manager and team. This full-time role involves working 38.5 hours per week, with shift patterns between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, providing flexibility to support your work-life balance.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Previous experience in a nursery setting, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and early years development.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a safe and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a dedicated team of nursery staff, ensuring high-quality care and education for children.
  • Assist with the daily operations of the nursery, maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.
  • Help create and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood development.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the professional development of nursery staff, fostering a positive team culture.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers, offering support and updates on children's progress.
