Hourly Rate: £25

Full-Time Hours, mixture of clinical and supernumerary hours.

Our client, a respected care provider for older adults, is seeking a dedicated Deputy Nurse Manager to join their dynamic team. As the Deputy Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of outstanding care for residents, including those with dementia and general nursing needs. Working closely with the management team, you’ll balance hands-on clinical care with operational responsibilities, contributing to the smooth running of the nursing home.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
  • Proven experience in a nursing home setting, with senior-level responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of dementia care and general nursing for older adults.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursing home.
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Supervise and mentor the nursing team, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Lead on care planning and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory and best practice standards.
  • Act as a role model for excellent clinical practice and compassionate care.
  • Liaise with families and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for residents.
