Salary: From £50,000

Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexibility Available)

As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will be at the heart of the home’s operations, championing independence and personal choice for residents. Your expertise will ensure the development and implementation of tailored care plans that meet the changing physical, social, and psychological needs of residents. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will also contribute to the ongoing positive reputation of the home.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse Qualification (NMC Registered).
  • Previous experience in a similar role, within a nursing home environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for delivering person-centred care and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee individualized care plans for residents.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a dedicated care team to deliver high-quality nursing care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with families, medical professionals, and external agencies to enhance residents’ quality of life.
  • Act as a positive ambassador for the care home, maintaining and building on its Good CQC rating.
  • Monitor and evaluate care delivery to ensure residents’ needs are consistently met.
