Chef - Luxury Care Home
£30,000 per annum | 40 hours per week

As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering nutritious, well-balanced meals that cater to the diverse dietary needs of residents. Working in a state-of-the-art kitchen, you will lead meal planning, food preparation, and kitchen management while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience & Training – Previous experience as a Chef, ideally in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
- Certifications – Qualification in Food Preparation/Catering and a Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Culinary Expertise – Strong cooking skills, knowledge of diverse cuisines, and ability to create balanced menus.
- Health & Safety Knowledge – Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Menu Planning & Preparation – Create and cook nutritious, visually appealing meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
- Stock & Budget Management – Monitor inventory, order supplies, and ensure cost-effective meal preparation.
- Hygiene & Safety Compliance – Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Team Leadership – Train, support, and oversee kitchen staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
- Resident Engagement – Build positive relationships with residents and respond to their dietary feedback and requests.
