Care Manager (Care Home)
Salary: From £35,000

Hours: 40 hours per week

 

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Care Manager to work alongside the Registered Manager lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality care within our client’s care home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership abilities and a deep commitment to person-centred care.

 

As Care Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the care service, ensuring that the home operates in accordance with regulatory requirements and delivers exceptional standards of care. You will lead by example, inspire your team, and play a key role in shaping a positive and supportive environment for residents and staff alike.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care (Management) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a care management role within a care home or similar setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding procedures, and current best practices in social care.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to develop, motivate, and support a multidisciplinary team.
  • A compassionate and person-centred approach with a genuine passion for improving the lives of residents.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to care staff.
  • Develop, review, and implement personalised care plans that reflect residents' individual needs and preferences.
  • Conduct regular assessments, audits, and quality checks to drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of dignity, respect, and wellbeing for residents and staff.
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure holistic care.
