Staff Nurse – Part-Time Nights
Hours: 24 hours per week (2-night shifts)
Hourly Rate: £21 - £22
Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join their team on a part-time basis, working night shifts in a medium-sized nursing home that provides high-quality residential and nursing care for older adults. The home has a well-established nursing and care team, supported by an experienced activities coordinator, ensuring a holistic approach to resident well-being.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration.
- Experience: Post-registration experience in a nursing home or similar care setting.
- Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing CPD and upskilling.
- Teamwork & Independence: Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
- Resident Care: Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents during night shifts.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments in accordance with medical prescriptions.
- Health Monitoring: Observe, record, and respond to residents' vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and effective care.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Family Support: Provide guidance and education to residents and their families regarding care plans.
- Safety & Hygiene: Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant working environment at all times.
