Staff Nurse – RGN/RMN

Night Shifts | £21.50 per hour | 36 Hours per Week

Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join their team for night shifts at a friendly care home located in a peaceful residential suburb in Bradford. The role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to residents with nursing, mental health and dementia care needs, while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthcare, possess strong clinical skills, and be committed to delivering excellent care throughout the night shifts.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid Nursing License: Hold a valid nursing license and registration
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Staff Nurse or in a similar role
  • Nursing Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
  • Health & Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of health and safety guidelines and regulations
  • Compassionate Approach: A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessments & Care Plans: Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualised care plans
  • Medications & Treatments: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team
  • Monitoring & Recording: Monitor and record vital signs and residents' conditions
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Accurate Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and provide thorough handover reports
