Staff Nurse - Day Shifts
Hours: Full-time, Day Shifts (37.5 hours per week)
Rate of Pay: £21.35 per hour
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join their team for day shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a newly developed nursing unit, providing high-quality care to residents in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents throughout the day.
What We Are Looking For:
- Essential: Valid NMC Pin and a Nursing qualification - RGN (Registered General Nurse) or RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse).
- Proven experience as a nurse, preferably in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of nursing care methods, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- A caring and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve residents' quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and conducting regular assessments to ensure optimal care standards.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised care plans for each resident.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation in line with care standards and regulations.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any emergency situations, ensuring immediate intervention when necessary.
- Offer emotional support and education to residents and their families, ensuring they are fully informed and supported.
- Ensure that a clean, safe, and comfortable environment is maintained at all times, in line with infection control protocols.
