Staff Nurse - Day Shifts

Hourly Rate: £22 plus paid breaks 

36 hours per week

Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join their team, providing high-quality care to older adults during night shifts. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with either an RGN (Registered General Nurse - Adult) or RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) qualification and a genuine passion for elderly care.

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualifications and registration: Valid NMC Pin and RGN (Registered General Nurse) or RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) qualification.
  • Professional Experience: Proven experience as a Staff Nurse in a healthcare setting.
  • Health and Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Approach to Care: A compassionate, patient-centred approach to nursing.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and interpersonal skill and ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Your day-to-day:

  • Health Assessment and Care Planning: Assess the health needs of residents and develop individualized care plans.
  • Medication and Treatment Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor and document residents’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall health.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic and person-centred care.
  • Education and Support: Educate and support residents and their families on health management and well-being.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to healthcare regulations and standards to maintain high-quality care.
  • Safe and Supportive Environment: Promote and practice a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
