Senior Nursery Room Leader
Salary: £30,000
Hours: 40 hours per week

What They’re Looking For

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within a nursery or childcare setting
  • A passion for child development and inclusive early education
  • Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
  • A nurturing, positive approach and a can-do attitude
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of early years practitioners within your room, supporting their development and wellbeing
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS
  • Build strong, nurturing relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming space for children to explore and learn
  • Monitor children’s development and contribute to planning and assessments
  • Champion the nursery’s values and contribute to its outstanding reputation
