Salary: Up to £30,500, dependent on experience
40 hours per week
Our client, a well-established nursery, is seeking a warm, proactive, and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their pre-school team. What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
- Experience: Proven background as a Room Leader within an early years setting, ideally with pre-school age children.
- Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of EYFS standards, Ofsted regulations, and general ICT competence.
- Personal Qualities: Enthusiastic, motivated, adaptable, and team-focused with strong communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire the pre-school room team, foster collaboration, and ensure the efficient operation of the room.
- Child Development and Care: Support children’s personal needs, promote emotional well-being, and engage in activities that stimulate cognitive, social, and physical development.
- Observations and Planning: Continuously monitor, assess, and plan for each child’s progress, ensuring activities align with EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
- Parental Engagement: Build positive, professional relationships with parents to support children’s learning journeys and progress.
- Daily Operations: Ensure efficient documentation, planning, and communication in line with nursery policies and procedures.
